This website is maintained by Steven Barry Staggs (1950- ). Steven was inspired to create this website from the genealogy research done by his father, Harold Wareham Staggs (1915-2009). Harold, with the help of his daughter Barbara, researched the Staggs family and self-published books on the Staggs ancestry for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Steven has expanded the ancestry documentation (and in a few places made corrections) and wanted to make the story of the Staggs family easily accessible for his children, grandchildren and future generations.
In addition to the Staggs family line in the United States, this site includes the direct lines to eight ancestors who were Mayflower passengers.
This site is expanding with many other lines including the ancestors of Steven’s wife, Karen Ann Edgar.
